Filming;Day four

On filming day four I filmed in a new location which was a abandoned building also in the centre of leicester the building had bright coloured graffiti on the walls of the building which added colours to the shots. Due to it being a an enclosed space and it being late at night the area was to dark therefore we had to use a cars head lights to light up the space. yet due to this non natural lighting some of the shots are still quite dark and a little fussy.

Filming; Day three

On filming day three I visited the second location which was an under paasage in the centre of Leicester. Due to it being a public location i had to strat and stop filming when ever genral public were in the shots meaning it took longer to film on this day. This is also the locaton where i set of the second smoke bomb. I  had to wait until later on in the day to set it off to make sure no one else is around while it was releasing smoke. Due to it being later in the day it was darker and therefore the colour of the smoke bomb was more vibrant and visible. On the three day of filming we also found another location which was a bridge over a dual carriage way, due to it being dark the car lights were visable and lit up the bridge creating a different effect.

Filming; Day two

On filming day two, I filmed in the first location which is the roof top car park in Leicester. This location is were I set of the first smoke bomb as it was a private location where the smoke didn't effect anything. yet once the smoke bomb had been set off it did cover a large area making all the shots foggy and meaning we had to move onto the next location. Due to the time of year and time of day it started to get dark early meaning some of the shots where darker than I would have liked, if I was to film in this location again I would either chose a sunnier day or bring alone lights to brighten the shots. Due to it being the first day of filming the artist was nervous about singing and performing in public therefore some of the first shots looked a little uncomfortable however as the day went on the artist become more conformable and the performance looked better in the shots. The artist I am using for the music video has never been in a music video before and therefore wasn't used to lip synching, because of this it took a couple of attempts to get it to look right. As we have a final deadline for the music video to be complete I wanted to get as much filmed in the first day as possible.

Filming; Day one

Filming Day one;
On the first day of filming I visited the locations that I have researched during the research and planning to make sure that it was a suitable location for filming. I took photos of the locations and some test shots to work out what worked well at each location. However on this day it was raining so the shots looked dull and dark therefore I hope it will be sunny on the next day of filming. The artist was also unavailable to come on this day therefore I wasn't able to film any shots with her in.  due to it being the first day of filming I also had to get used to the camera I was using to film the video.
